WHO AMONG US HATH NOT DATED A COOL GUY ™?

Many years ago, I dated someone I perceived to be a Cool Guy™. He was actually quite lovely and I think I projected my own insecurity onto him (o god!).

But The Cool Guy™ is more of an archetypal figure than a literal one... each of us must reckon with The Cool Guy™ in our own time.
